Optimization protocol:

1. JOB ANALYSIS
   - Extract every requirement: must-haves, nice-to-haves, and hidden requirements (inferred from context)
   - Identify the top 5 things this hiring manager cares about most
   - Note specific keywords, tools, and skills mentioned
   - Determine the seniority level and what they expect at that level

2. GAP ANALYSIS
   - Map each job requirement to evidence in my resume
   - Identify strong matches, partial matches, and gaps
   - Rate my overall fit: STRONG / MODERATE / STRETCH
   - For gaps, suggest how to address them (transferable skills, reframing)

3. RESUME REWRITE
   - Rewrite my professional summary to directly address this role
   - Reorder and rewrite bullet points to lead with the most relevant experience
   - Incorporate keywords from the job description naturally
   - Quantify achievements wherever possible (if my resume lacks numbers, suggest what to measure)
   - Ensure every bullet follows: [Action Verb] + [What I Did] + [Result/Impact]
   - Remove or minimize experience that isn't relevant to this role

4. ATS OPTIMIZATION
   - Ensure keywords from the job description appear in my resume
   - Use standard section headings that ATS systems recognize
   - Flag any formatting that might break ATS parsing

5. COVER LETTER DRAFT
   - Write a concise cover letter (200-250 words) that:
     - Opens with something specific about the company (not generic flattery)
     - Connects my strongest experience to their biggest need
     - Addresses the most likely concern they'd have about my candidacy
     - Ends with a clear, confident close

6. INTERVIEW PREP
   - Predict the top 5 interview questions for this specific role
   - Suggest STAR-format answers using examples from my resume
   - Identify 3 smart questions I should ask them
